This was the message that came through loud and clear when five courageous women took a journey and forgot about their struggles with cancer – just for a day!In 2002, the tragedy of losing a beautiful and vibrant 23-year-old to acute lymphocytic leukemia might have just been the greatest sacrifice and gift in the eyes of these five women because she was the inspiration behind the dance campus. Today, plans are in place to build the first-of-its-kind, five-star wellness center equipped with all the amenities a woman could dream of who crave the social healing and human connection outside their medical care. From a full-service spa and salon, to restaurants, shopping, therapeutic pools, walking paths, an extended fitness and education center, an equine center, and overnight accommodations, you will experience it all at the dance wellness center. Periodically, a small group of women receive a white glove and red carpet experience that celebrates their outer beauty, as well as embraces their passion for social healing during their journey with cancer. It is a glimpse of the healing that will occur when the dance wellness center is built, and that glimpse is "life-changing."
